Slow Process
Getting to the desired prairie setting from seed actually takes around three years. This is because most of the plants you seed will develop their root system for three years until beginning to sprout their flower above ground. This is also the reason prairies endure fire so well.
I planted 30+ species in five different habitats all within my yard. I’m looking forward to finding each of them.
