Honeymoon!!!!!!

Wow, what a trip. Our plane was redirected to Istanbul and we stayed for 36 hours in just a magical city. Our ferry wasn’t able to get to two other islands that we had planned for, so we redirected again and had an opportunity to see Athens (which we wouldn’t have if the ferry could have gone).

So, we had Mykonos for three extra days. We pretty much saw everything and experience most of what we thought we should for Mykonos within three days. So what did we do those extra three days?? Slept in. Drank local hooch from a local on the side of the road. Immersed ourselves in a local tradition within a family restaurant. And looked into each other’s eyes longingly in bed : )

It was so much fun. I love Mykonos. Very playful. Great nightlife. Easily accessible.
