Chang Mai, Thailand
Chang Mai is within the northern part of Thailand. It’s a little more relaxed than its party-going brothers and sisters of the south.
Chang Mai was awesome. This was one of the first cities I didn’t feel rushed in to see everything. Also with no ocean around, you don’t feel that guilty pull of not spending time by the beach (says the land locked kid from central US).
We visited an elephant sanctuary, received Thai massages, had the best pad thai ever on a side street off the beaten path, and saw some great temples. Chang Mai is a must.
