Amman was our last stop in Jordan.  The city doesn't have a ton to do in terms of sightseeing, but it's necessary to experience the hustle and bustle of a big city and the capital of Jordan.
 
We stayed right downtown and within walking distance to most of the popular spots.  Just down the street from our hotel are some of the roman ruins still intact in the city.  They continue to do excavations at a few of the sites.  

We ate at the most popular falafel restaurant which was packed with both locals and tourists.  It was a super casual spot, very inexpensive, and super delicious.  Our meal was only 6 JOD ($8.50) and we couldn't even finish it. 

At night, we walked to the popular Rainbow Street that's lined with cafe's, bar's and restaurants.  It has a more modern and hip vibe compared to the rest of Amman.  We saw rooftop pubs, hookah bars, ice cream shops, and boutiques.  It definitely has a younger crowd and feels a bit more liberal than the rest of Jordan.
